ARANTXA GARRIDO REDONDO

 

Graduated in Fine Arts from University of Bilbao (Spain), in 2014 I finished “TEXTILE AND SURFACES DESIGN” Master´s Degree in the IED, “European Institute of Design” Madrid (Spain). The degree focuses mainly on Print and Patterns.

 

Ever since I was young I felt a strong drag towards fashion. Not only fashion in general but the art of creating beautiful patterns. Textiles are therefore my strongest passion.

I feel that with all the technology available the industry is pushing forward rapidly. Heaving this strong urge to create beautiful and unique patterns I feel more than lucky pursuing my career in this direction.

 

 *I did several projects in collaboration with brands such as;

    "PESETA" (textile), "VISTALEGRE" (Porcelain),

    "3 TINTAS" (Wallpaper) and "museum THYSSEN      BORNEMISZA"   (Products).

  Also, I  realized internships at "CRISTOBAL BALENCIAGA MUSEUM" and "HUGO BOSS".

 

Graduada en Bellas Artes por la universidad de Bilbao, en 2014 finalizó el master de DISEÑO TEXTIL Y SUPERFICIES en el IED, "Instituto Europeo Design". Aquí realizó diversos proyectos en colaboración con empresas como;

 

"PESETA" (textil), "VISTALEGRE" (Porcelana), 

"3 TINTAS" (Wallpaper) y "museo THYSSEN BORNEMISZA" (Productos). Y ha realizado prácticas en el "CRISTOBAL BALENCIAGA museoa" y "HUGO BOSS".

 

Le apasiona la ilustración y de ella se sirve  a la hora de realizar sus estampados. Sus patterns están creados mediante diferentes técnicas manuales como; acuarelas, ceras, acrílicos, rotuladores... Pero si por algo se caracterizan sus prints son por el trazo lineal. En esta web se pueden ver los diseños que realiza.
